Glimps of Sunlight





On my way home I saw this beautiful crack of light in the gray clouds. I was going to get my camera out as soon as I parked, but, as always, I was distracted. Later I hoped to capture some glimpse of what I saw. I think this last picture comes pretty close.

Beaten Shrub

Chink... chink. It is the sound of the rain as it hits a metal shelf out on the deck. I peak my head out the door and see this beaten bush all snuggled tight in its own limbs. Even the moon in the distance sees this forgotten shrub. He, knowing the beauty of all creation, watches one.
